I had been planning on going down to Evansville on Saturday for the championship game, but I guess I can probably forget that idea. Hopefully the sun will at least come out long enough to get 101 laps complete at the Indy 500 on Sunday.

Belmont gives up 6 runs in the 8th to get run-ruled by SIU.

Game 5 ISU v SIU is scheduled for tomorrow at 4pm central, depending on the finish times of the two early games

Forecast looks pretty good for 500 miles on Memorial day.

Just have some college baseball on the tube as I'm doing some work from home. This isn't directed at commentators for the MVC tournament, but is anyone else getting sick and tired of hearing about "velo" and "launch angle" after every damn hit? I understand if someone hits a bomb. But after every time someone hits a routine single they say "101 velo" it really cheapens the broadcast. Really bugs me

Have you or anyone heard who we are throwing today????? Spencer maybe? I assume SIU threw their best last night hopefully just to try to advance.

SIU only used two pitchers last night. That's the advantage of getting a run-rule win
I agree, but unless it's a really close or they are winning in the latter part, I don't think they would throw those two on less than 24 hours rest. but hey it is college ball and strange things happen. The rain gods have been angered this afternoon. The radar here in Eville shows a lot of red to hit about 3-4 our time. Was hoping to go catch this game, buuuuutttttt!

Have to imagine Spencer won’t get back on the mound once the game resumes. Maybe be able to keep him for a close later on in the tourney?
