EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Indiana State continued its dominance of in-state rival Evansville Saturday night at the Carson Center, defeating the Purple Aces 3-2 (25-18, 25-21, 25-15, 21-25, 15-11) for their second Missouri Valley Conference win of the season.

Many Sycamore fans, including most of the IFC, enjoy a win over the Purple Aces; it's something special. It makes no difference what the sport, where it's played or when it takes place--putting an L on the Aces is much like a win against Butler. That is about as good as it gets! Thanks Sycamores!
