The Odum Level
I'm already wondering. I signed up for it last night to watch the basketball game when I couldn't find it anywhere else. The game was fine, but I could have swore I saw today's football game on the schedule, too, which would make a whole lot of sense. I got there this morning, click on the watch it option and get a dead link. Check the schedule and it's not there now. What is the deal?

I know what you mean, it can seem sketchy at times. And during the the second half of last night's game, the picture was very choppy and not pleasant to watch....audio remains good, but the picture is not like watching tv. I remember watching State play at Creighton last year and the game was on Omaha's sports channel (on the net)....and the picture was great.

But with that said, I'm glad the option to see ISU on the web is there, I'll take advantage of SycVision whenever I can (though I always check channelsurfing.net first).

If it wasn't a pay service I wouldn't complain, but I expect better if they're taking my money.

Absolutely.

On at least one occasion I bought a school's equivalent to sycvision (forget which team) to watch ISU play....and the picture never appeared, tech difficulties....hell, it might have even been user error on my part.....I emailed the customer service department, explained the issue and they refunded my payment.

Was still annoyed I didn't get to see the game, but was glad they offered the refund.

it unexpectedly went out is what their saying

Today's football game wasn't on because there was no internet at the stadium - it unexpectedly went out. The athletic department is really good at refunding your money so all you have to do is call them and they will take care of it.

Really?? I'm still waiting for a refund on the 2009 football media guide I ordered; yes, I know it was only published 'digitally' but I'm still waited for the my check that accompanied the order form.

Pretty sure I won't be seeing it.

If my money for sycvision goes to the athletic dept. then I'm good with that, even if I don't get to watch all of the games. I'm a little ticked that I'm being billed for a full year all at once instead of month to month, which is what I thought was the case when I signed up, but that's probably my fault for not paying better attention. Still, I expect a better and more reliable service from the university if they're going to offer such a thing. Don't give me excuses, give me what you promise. If I'm going to give you my money, make good on your end. Failing to do so reflects VERY BADLY on the school. I don't like coming onto this forum and making a thread like this, but if it's what it takes to wake the university up and hold it accountable, then I'll do it every day!
