Good win! Hopefully this leads to better things to come. On the topic of Butler, it's interesting to me that the Lady Bulldogs have suffered in order for the men to move to the Big East. They used to be pretty solid in the Horizon League, winning 20 or more four straight seasons, but they've been middle of the road since moving up to the big conferences. Last year, they fired their coach, who'd been with them 11 years (as if she was their problem), and they continue to be very average, now losing to an ISU team that hasn't been very good this year.

Not that we wouldn't love to have our men's team playing in a bigger conference, but I wouldn't like it if we did it at the expense of the women's team and all the other sports.

I agree, except I don't want our men or women to play in a "bigger" conference. I think the MVC gives us all we can handle.
