Interesting take - I’m not sure the rationale given is enough to qualify for the top 10 but hey it’s not my list and Meistro wants me to be more positive apparently!
I mean we’ve been on worse lists - my guess is that if it was negative pub it would have been posted on here much quicker. Funny - I didn’t read anything about the “smell of Terre Haute” in this list - shocking...
1. Parks, Recreation & Trail opportunities. Think this is probably the most under rated aspect of our city. We have some great parks and places for exercise.
2. Expansive career opportunities in education, healthcare, construction/building trades and entrepreneurship.
3. Safe community regardless of what a similar publication to this said about Indiana State a few yrs back it I recall correctly.
4. First rate engineering school in Rose Hulman.
5. Fine Catholic institution in Saint Mary of the Woods.
