Unveiling of plaque honoring "Three Finger" Brown at site of his former service station (at Seventh and Cherry streets) is set for June 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. The Terre Haute Rex game recognizing Brown's career and achievements is set for Friday, June 4.

Maybe Tommy John's next? I wonder how many collegiate ballplayers have heard of "Tommy John Surgery" but have no idea that he grew:sycamores: up and played HS ball @ Terre Haute Gerstmeyer...and also attended ISU, where he met his wife...and pitched in MLB for twenty yrs!
