There have been a lot of bubbling stories over the last couple months talking about athletics spending, subsidies and debt as it is time for schools to handle their annual budgets. At some point, the house of cards is going to come crashing down, especially with athletics spending rising when professors are seeing RIF or salaries cut and students are seeing tuition and student fees continue to increase.
