There are no known cases of coronavirus (covid-19) at Indiana State University or Vigo County.
ISU officials are in coordination with the Indiana State Department of Health and the Vigo County Health Department. ISU's decisions continue to be informed by guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other health agencies. The State Department of Health on March 6 announced the first confirmed case in Indiana, a Marion County man. The State Department of Health has since reported other confirmed cases.
ISU has restricted all university-sponsored international travel during spring break. With the situation evolving, ISU officials are preparing for all scenarios.
The CDC issued a fact sheet about covid-19 to dispel rumors, especially about race or ethnicity as it relates to the virus.
