Am I the only one who hears Ronnie Santo screaming out "THIS IS THE YEAR" every time i read that? Our Cubbies should be much improved this year...not sure we will score a ton of runs, but we may be pleasantly surprised by some of the younger bats in the line up.

Nope! I actually start talking to myself in his voice - it has that effect on me. As I told my buddy who I share an MLB.com account with - hurry up an renew that while we are still in the playoff race!

It's amazing, I stopped watching baseball in May last year lol Cubs were dead in the water a week into May.

The Cubs will do it this year. There's a banner in the clubhouse challenging the team to "Win this one for Smalley!" (That's Roy Frederick Smalley, Jr. not that show off kid of his, Roy Frederick Smalley, III. .) A motivational reminder that will take the Cubbies into the Series.
