Just saw a story on channel 13 here in Indy about the players working out for the Pacers today. They had a shot of Larry Bird watching, and who was sitting next to him? Greg Lansing and Lou Gudino! Nice to see these ISU people working together!!!

I think we are all seeing some signs that quite possibly the "cold war" between ISU and the birdman are beginning to change. It might just be wishful thinking but there was a time when he NEVER would mention Indiana State but I have seen/heard several interviews where he has brought up the subject. Somehow I missed seeing coach there but it was a nice gesture by the Pacers. My guess is that Dr. B. might be trying to work behind the scenes to accomplish it with some assist from the athletic department. rap-man, you know the goings on down in TH. Do you think it is happening or as I said, is it wishful thinking?Good post INDY. Nice to know our guys are working the pipelines.
I'd say it is over... I've heard a couple things, but I've been bound to secrecy.I think we are all seeing some signs that quite possibly the "cold war" between ISU and the birdman are beginning to change. My guess is that Boda and I are hearing the same thing.Great, Jason! Way hook us with that bait, then leave us on the line to squirm.
I still have hopes to see a statue someday in front of the Hulman Center of Larry Legend. Not that it has anything to do with the cold war but it would sure be a nice gesture on the part of the university. After all, 75% of our basketball reputation is directly/indirectly connected with Larry. I see our notoriety gaining stature in the next few years but it all started with Larry and we shouldn't forget that~
What's holding up that statue?
Yes it is. I'm not sure how active it is.
Guys, there have been developments and that's all I can say. If Brad wants to get on here and discuss this, he will, but I think he is trying to finalize some things and there MAY be an announcement in the near future.
