ISU athletes begin competing tomorrow!

Erice Moore did not advance in the women's 800 tonight, she ran 2:04.44 and needed a 2:03.66 to advance, not sure what happened?

Kylie Hutson is competing tonight also

actually, the women's pole vault will not be competed tonight due to rain, they'll all compete in 1 final Sunday

Hutson cleared her opening height of 4.25 (13-11 1/4) on the second attempt. 27 vaulters competing...not sure what the conditions are like in Eugene, but a lot of vaulters going out early.

Opening height of 4.25 took out a dozen vaulters, down to 15. Bar moving to 4.40 (14-5 1/4). Hutson in a tie for 9th in the early stages.

Hutson clears 4.40 on her first attempt. Two others also over on their first attempt (so far).

Moving to 4.50 (14-9) with 9 vaulters remaining. Suhr hasn't vaulted yet, I'd assume she's coming in at this height. Hutson sitting in a 4th place tie, still early. Big height here, making it on the first attempt would really help.

they hadn't been putting in there that she was passing until now. Hutson misses first try at 14-9

Looks like Suhr's not coming in until the next height. The way this one's going, there might only be 3-4 vaulters left when she comes in for her opening height.
