ISU hosts the Pacesetter Quadrangular track meet Saturday at the new Gibson track complex, it's the 2nd and last home meet of the season for ISU. Weather looks great, so if you're in town, go to the meet (and the baseball game), both complexes are near one another.

The meet is a scored meet, listed as a quadrangular meet, teams are ISU, Southern Illinois, DePaul, and IUPUI, but IUPUI really doesn't have track team per se, they're all distance runners only, so they won't score many, if any points.

ISU Track and Field Set to Host PaceSetter Quadrangular on Saturday

The Indiana State Track and Field team returns to the friendly confines of Gibson Track and Field as it hosts the PaceSetter Quadrangular on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. ET.

the women's 4 x 100 meter relay just ran 44.55 for the win, that time is the 22nd best time in the nation this year and the 11th fastest in the east regional, Also that time is the 2nd fastest ever at ISU, that should get them into the east regional.

men's relay was 3rd in 42.18, not very fast

Taylor Austin won the women's 1500 in 4:34.78

Kimyanna Rudolph clears 13-08.25 in the pole vault, that is the 26th best in the NCAA and 10th best in the NCAA East Regional!

Sycamores sweep both hurdle events.

Newsome wins the long jump, nearly going 20 feet, while Koltsidou wins the women's HJ, over 5-06"
 
Whoa! Katie Wise just blasted the 5th fastest time in the nation this year in the women's 100, running 11.22, wow!

Chidera Obasih's 11.44 in the same race ranks her 8th in the NCAA East regional too!

good long jump results for the ISU men, Schreiber and Mikell go 1-2, Schreiber goes 24-00.25", Mikell 23-08"

Schreiber sits at #37 in the east regional with that leap

Whitney Walker throws over 50 feet in the women's shot put for 4th place, ranking 25th in the NCAA east regional

men's 100, Keys, Carter, Wehmiller, and Mikell all run under 11 seconds

Dowdell runs 48.05 for 2nd in the 400

Alethia Marrero runs the 16th fastest time in the nation for 400 meter hurdles, 57.71, wow! The women are killing it today!
 
Jonathan Jackson wins the 400 meter hurdles

David Timlin runs 1:49.99 to get under 1:50 in the men's 800, Rigoni with a solid 1:53.25 for 3rd!
 
Katie Wise doubles back and wins the 200 in 23.75, Camble 6th in 24.96

ISU goes 2-3 in the men's high jump and 2, 4 in the men's pole vault

Katelyn Rutz throws 162-11 to win the women's discus, that improves her mark at #7 on the all time ISU list

Whitney Walker wins the javelin, 137-04, #3 all time at ISU

ISU goes 1-2-3 in the men's javelin, but with one event left trail SIU 180-176, so SIU will win the team competition on the men's side, on the women's side ISU has a big lead and will win the team competition

the ISU women easily win the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3:41.57, which I think is a season best time
 
the men's 4 x 400 relay wins easily in 3:15.97, SIU wins the men's meet 187-185, ISU wins the women's meet 233-192 over SIU

Depaul was 3rd in both meets, IUPUI 4th

The Indiana State women took top honors while the men's competition came down to the final race at the Pacesetter Quadrangular on Saturday at Gibson Track and Field.
