What did Erica do wrong?

I watched the fourth heat of the Women's 800-meter run. Erica Moore ran second and third through the first 400 meters and finished fifth but also was the fifth fastest qualifier and would have advanced easily to the semi-finals. However, after the race she was disqualified. Can someone tell me what she did to be disqualified? After watching the entire race twice I could not find where she interfered with another runner or did anything illegal. Help!

Hmm? Will have to watch the replay, if she didn't do anything wrong it's odd she'd have been DQ'd???

The contention is that she stepped on the lane line in Turn One. I watched the race three times and it difficult to tell if she stepped on the line. She was very close to it. She certainly did not impede or interfere with a competitor. No one was close to her. And I feel comfortable asserting that she did not step over the line.

If she was racing every week it would be one thing but she is returning from an Achilles injury and mono. Her confidence probably is at stake though I think she can battle through that.

Katie runs a legal wind 11.25, her 2nd fastest time ever, she will finish 11th in the USA! Great year for her!

Kylie Hutson is competing in the pole vault tonight too

just graduated senior Max Tuttle just barely missed the finals in the 400 meter hurdles, running 51.41, he needed a 50.93 to get to the finals. He ended his career on a GREAT note, could not have picked a better time to reach the peak of his career in college.

Kylie Hutson didn't do too well last night, placing 6th in the pole vault, only clearing one height.
