Yes, thank you veterans for all you have done. My dad was Navy, my oldest brother was Navy, my cousin is Navy, several uncles were Army, my stepdad was Army under Patton, brother in law Marines, father in law was Army (Normandy). Like most Americans whose families have been here for any time at all we have had family in the military. The farthest I can trace back is an ancestor in the Continental Army. I had forgotten it was Veterans Day. Thanks for reminding me. I just last night watched the movie Patton starring George C Scott and Karl Malden. I don't know how true to life it was but it was a good movie.
