Gotta wonder if they'll put it near the new Vigo Center for Tourism on the 2-lane, chuck hole-filled Margaret Ave/Hwy 46 corridor. Talk about being out of sync w/ tourism and development. I guess they followed the lead of the TH Trib-star relocation...the blind following the blind, just as the TH downtown district seems to be getting on its feet again.
Gotta give 'em credit though...instead of the idealized "ISU Swim Program Revenue," they're now using the voodo $$$ associated w/ a 4-day swimming competition that allegedly brought in $1.5m. I've heard it all, now...I'd like to see the books on that one.
