Word was just received that the Women's Basketball Team was named #1 by the WBCA for Academic GPA in D-1. Congrats. to Coach Wiedie and the womens team!

I hope they put up a big National Championship banner in the Hulman Center. What a fantastic achievement by these student-athletes - CONGRATULATIONS !!!. Education, not sports, is why they attend college.

My guess, and that is all it is, is that they are waiting for the official press release from the WBCA. The team was notified of this wonderful honor. It looks like in the past the announce it by mid-July.
