The All-MVC Level
big week in the MVFC this next weekend.

Indiana State at Western Illinois (if ISU stops Barr they win I think)
SIU at YSU (after seeing SIU last night, YSU wins in a route)
South Dakota at NDSU (USD's offense better than NDSU's defense, USD wins a close one)
Missouri State at Illinois State (ISU red wins just because they're at home)
UNI at Iowa State (UNI unimpressive so far w/ lots of turnovers every game)
S. Dak. St. at Nebraska (UNL in a laugher, only question is will Nebraska score 100 points or not? They'll score as many as they want)

all I can say is everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I really think ISU is going to open some eyes this weekend and could walk out of Macomb with a win. Not sure how UNI will do at Iowa State, but Iowa St. usually isn't too good. We'll see??

Indiana State will get Crushed this Sat. As will Cap'ns precious little panthers.

ISU will have to be A LOT better than they were last year and A Lot better than what they showed at Cinci.

WIU receiving corps (Senatus, Crump, Speight, Morgan) are the best I have seen at WIU since the early 2000's.

WIU's running game is a leathal 1+2 punch Ray(started good part of season for Michigan State) and Flowers(Army prep.) are not individually better than WIU past greats ie Donaldson, Stecker, Tharp, but together are more durable and have plenty in the tank in the Fouth.

WIU's Matt Barr could start for any number of BCS programs. Unlike Will Lunt of last year M.B. is astonishingly good at escaping the pass rush.

I like ISU's confidence, and the way things have been going (SIU,UNI,SDSU) who knows who will be on top maybe it will by ISU blue.

ok even though i said i thought state would lose in painful loss in the last minute, dude you're crazy if you think the leathernecks will "crush" them. I truly hope that state wins their first road game in six years and i guarantee you that our running backs and qb fouch is just as good your boys!:sycamores::sycamores::sycamores::sycamores:

So like last year when we were told by a WIU fan that we were going to get crushed...you are saying we are going to get crushed too??? I mean I am not saying the Syc's are going to dominate and win...I think they can, we clearly have a much improved team BUT...you can't judge a book but it's prologue against a team that went to the Sugar Bowl last season...lol Give it time...I am very impressed by the leathernecks tho...their running attack would have given us more fits than anything I believe...even passing teams int he past have decided to run the ball down our throats so we will see...

No one here heard any chest pounding from me last year. (go ahead look in the archives) I knew our ship was sinking.

I am glad to see ISU fans so pumped about their team... I hope it turns out to be a good game.

Gonna have to call BS on that.

he was pretty much a ball holder. his bio said he had one pass attempt last year.

There is a reason he is not at Washington anymore.
So question....was Jim Mcmahon never the quarterback of the bears then??? did he play Ball Holder too? you invented a new position...fact is Fouch was a BCS qb and Your guy well he may be able to...

Frankly, the entire MVFC has taken a step backwards so far this season. It's nice to be the part of it that is heading in the right direction. WIU played pretty well against the Boilers. My guess is that we are in for a very tough game and one that means MUCH to both teams.

Gonna have to call BS to your BS call.

In 2008, Fouch played in all 12 UW games, starting the last eight.

The reason he is here is named Jake Locker, who is a Heisman candidate (or was...). Can't blame the kid for not wanting to be a backup to a truly elite QB.

Besides, FCS schools don't get Heisman caliber QB's very often...never seen one in the MVFC...

ITF, right on! There's two sides to every story. Ours just happens to be the truth. Same to you too, DG3. Facts DO get in the way some times, don't they?

Fine, score one for the Trees,

I will call our administration and see what I can do to put a point on the scoreboard for the visitors :) before we start.

(we actually got a point on the scoreboard for us one year '07 maybe, for some infraction by the other team, not kidding)

Oh, what's up with people that include lol with every statement, in normal conversation are you laughing out loud all day long?

Has Fouch won any conference recognition? Oh, and by the way in your player roster bio, it does mention Fouch as a ball holder at Wash.
