Just curious what everyone's thinking right now. Seems like a good goal. We're still up two.

I went with "yes." It might be wishful thinking as much as anything, but I want to hold onto some hope.

realtimerpi.com has our Sycamores finishing at 14-14, 6-12 MVC. That count doesn't include the win against Maryville and the bracketbuster game.

I think we will too...I have usually been the only one with having high hopes for ISU in recent years but this has probably been a string of the most disappointing losses I think I have ever seen. Have to step up but I think it's more likely we do than we don't..

I voted yes.

And if we do finish even a game over .500, that'll make it 3 seasons in a row. Man I hope we can do it.

I hope we don't lose another game the rest of the year. I am tired of just having .500 records. I want to be a team that wins the regular season and conference tournament. I am tired of the mediocrity that Sycamore fans accept. There's no reason we shouldn't be in the top 3-4 for conference year in and year out.

It's frustrating to know we have went from talking about winning the MVC and a solid NCAA Trny run to wether we will finish .500 but that's what has happened.....I would love to vote "yes" but I think this game factored with what has happened already is the final dagger in the players hearts.

Not with the talent this team has...I'm not happy with a barely above .500 season...unacceptable, sorry.

I would agree with you when we were 9-2 (or even 0-0)....but at 11-9 (or whatever our record is now), I'm  we can finish the season with a winning record.

Last year, I said I would be happy with above .500, so this year, it feels like I have to be content with that as well.

Its sad we are even having this poll but its a good question. I could see it going either way at this point. Even if we do finish a little above .500 the season is still a disappointment. No way we should be 2-7 in conference with 3 double digit road losses.

I believe we will get it together and start winning. I believe we will finish above .500. I have seen wayyyyy too much losing over the years and some very disappointing losses. We've still got half the conference schedule to go. Keep supporting the team, they will make us proud soon.

I don't understand why the team that showed up to play against Wichita State can't show up every night. If you need a great home crowd to inspire you to want to play, to me you're not a very strong willed athlete and sports don't mean that much to you. it's ridiculous that we can play so hard and well against the second-best team in the league, and then just dog it against everybody else -- especially on the road..

I was fine after the Wichita game even in defeat, and I'm not one of those with expectations that were too high. If we play well and lose, I'm really OK with it. But when we suck and lose, like most of the MVC games, that's when I have a problem.

Pretty pathetic that 18 out of 29 Sycamore "SUPPORTERS" think we're gonna finish the season with a losing record.

I'm remaining hopeful, but can you blame them really? What has the team shown us of late to help us keep the faith? It would be one thing if these were close, hard fought games. All I can think is maybe ... maybe the team we can be will still find a way to show up.
