Women’s Basketball Gameday Central: Sycamores Welcome Thundering Herd On Monday Night

The Indiana State women's basketball team plays their lone Monday night game of the 2012-13 season this week, hosting the Marshall Thundering Herd at 7:05 p.m. inside Hulman Center on Monday, Nov. 12.

This will be a different kind of game for the Sycamores. While EIU was a very tall team Marshall is a very short team that likes to use their speed to run the ball. I was very impressed with ISU's defense against EIU and their offense was much better than against Bellarmine. The defense is something that should be their every game and hopefully the offense is there for more games than it is not.

Offensive rebounds really helped ISU tonight as their shooting was not good.

That is how ISU is going to have to win this year. Defense and rebounding. But the players do seem to understand that and are buying into what the coaches are teaching them.
