Brian Greene, Jr. 6'3 2G Harvey (Thornton)

The MVP of the Mc Dipper Holiday Tournament is starting to reel in D1 recruiting interest left and right. Chicago State University already has offered a scholarship, and increasing interest includes Valparaiso University, Southeast Missouri State University, Tennessee State University, Missouri State University, Indiana State University, University of Illinois-Chicago, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Wright State University.

Based on the other schools interest I would guess he has some other skills besides dunking. Harvey Thornton is a tough neighborhood in Illinois near Chicago and Hammond, IN

The interested schools are mainly Horizon, Summit and OVC schools; would still like to know more about his game than the youtube dunks

6'3 class of 2011 guard Brian Greene Jr. from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, IL has received a scholarship offer courtesy of Northeastern University in the Colonial Athletic Association. The offer from Huskies head coach Bill Coen was confirmed by Greene's father--Brian Greene Sr.

Greene sports previous offers from Chicago State and Wofford and also continues to receive interest from schools in both the Missouri Valley and Ohio Valley conferences.

There is no question that Greene has played solidly all season long at Thornton and has been instrumental in helping his team lock up the #1 seed in the highly competitive Class 4A sectional at Thornwood High School in South Holland, IL come state tournament time. Greene's personal highlights from this season include being named the MVP at the McDipper Holiday Tournament this past December.

Kid was a 2011 recruit but went the prep school route. It has paid off as he now has offers from Iowa, Ole Miss, Nebraksa, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure. Article on Scout said we offered last year.

So we are anticipating an open schollie in addition to those created by the departure of the four seniors?
