He would be a nice get if he'd come. Keep recruiting Mt. Carmel, Maine South, Wheaton South, St. Rita, and the other top programs in Chicago. The highlight film was interesting--several clips against potential future teammates Victor Vernon (Providence) and Mark Sewall (Lyons Township).
Love this guy...he double teams really good...which fits right in with the power o we run on offense...he gets to the second level very good...he plays to the whistle and he is physical...pad level a tad high but who isn't in highschool...man...this guy has been well coached...remember this team...keep getting lineman from here...
I love the fact that we're at the point where we can have offers out there early to top flight talent and compete! The football camps across the state this summer were a fantastic addition to the program. As for this kid, agreed, second level is key.

Roach bouncing back: One of the better stories this summer on the recruiting trail belongs to Mount Carmel senior offensive tackle Nick Roach, who saw limited playing time last season because of various injuries.
"I wound up catching mono during triples and it set me back for the whole season," said Roach, who is 6-foot-5, 295 pounds. "I lost like 25 pounds in the first few days and I honestly looked like death.
"It took me a while to get back into football shape and I honestly never got back where I wanted to be last year physically. I had very limited tape but we had a lot of college coaches in school over the spring and they all watched me work out. I think I really surprised some coaches when they saw me because they didn't expect to see me as big as I am these days."
Roach, who scored a 32 on his ACT, has offers from Western Michigan, Ball State, Indiana State and Northern Iowa.
