If I'm guilty of anything (and I'm NOT admitting guilt), it was libel (written) vs. slander (oral)

And given his police record; I don't think EITHER charge would stand in court.

As to your first hand knowledge; I'm sorry, just because you are a teacher in the Plymouth system DOES NOT mean you know EVERYTHING about Scott Skiles; unless YOU ARE Scott Skiles.

They're probably laughing at me for not being that high on him for us -- thinking that he proved good enough for us by playing at PU last year. I'll admit, he did prove something. But they shouldn't get too carried away with it. PU had to play anyone that could make a shot; and PU's Sagarin rating puts them in the middle of our conference last year.

I received 2nd hand info about Skiles; mainly that all of these habits were occuring before Mich State, while in HS from other kids at Plymouth during the 'Skiles Era.'

I know I was doing stuff in HS that my parents and teachers didn't know about



As to Gotta Hav's points? Who knows but didn't Gary McClain (sp?) claim to be high during Villanova's "perfect' NCAA title game in 1985?

Was it Bill 'The Spaceman' Lee (or other 1970s flake pitcher) who claimed to be pitching while high?

Just finished Mantle's bio, " The Last Boy" He played while taking "greenies" or uppers. He also took injections from Dr. Feelgood, this is where he may have contacted Hepatitis C
