Ronnye Beamon, a 6-4 junior (11.4 ppg), has offers from Evansville, Indiana State and Valparaiso. Milos Kostic, a 6-8 sophomore (7.3 ppg, 5.1 rebounds), has offers from Fordham and Northwestern. Larry Crisler, a 6-2 freshman guard, doesn’t have any offers, but is aveaging 8.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and shooting 70 percent from the field.

Listened to this game on the radio. Kid sounded very promising. Had 11 points and 9 boards and missed some freebies. Annoucers liked the kids energy and aggressiveness going to the bucket. He also was active in the lane defensively.

Also mentioned he lost his dad in February, Ronnye Sr. We should definitely keep our eye on this kid as he seemed to be a hard nosed player like Lansing likes.

Agreed. He was lost out there on both ends of the floor, but you can't teach height and I'd imagine that is what Northwestern is banking on.

Smart too

To get an offer from Northwestern he must have the smarts too. Always good to have an intelligent basketball player, come to ISU and get brighter too.

The Division I offers are pouring in. Valpo, Lehigh, Illinois State, Jacksonville, Cleveland State, Northern Illinois, Indiana State and Evansville have all offered Beamon.​
