While not agreeing or disagreeing with your theory, it is obvious in state players don't want to come here for whatever reason(s). Not sure what can be done to reverse that trend.

I just don't want to see a repeat of last year, a la going hard after several players, striking out on all of them and then two weeks later BAM, recruiting class is completely full after getting verbals from players who we had never even been mentioned with a month earlier.

For those of us who have not seen these guys, it's hard to tell sometimes if we are the ones that cool on a player and then they go somewhere else. And I'm sure we have our "primary" targets and some of the ones we think we lose were not the primary.
