Not sure that tape shows us anything..He could of made a sweet tape from his plays at state in 2 years.. Problem is he was far too inconsistent and didn't do the little things to help us win. Plus that league looked like some SWAC level athletes.....Thanks for bringing this thread back up though! First 4 pages are good for some laughs.

Did Niels ever really play inside?

A smidge.

There was a couple game stretch where he decided to be a player and was defending the rim, taking the ball to the rack and hitting short Js from the baseline if I'm remembering correctly. As was said just above, his consistency is what kept him glued to the bench.

All those letters in his name and not a single D.

MVC tourney game against Ill. State was one of his better games, and it was mostly due to him being aggressive. If we would have seen more of that Neils, we would have seen more of Neils (if you get me).
