He's even serviceable in that area now. He can hit jumpers 2 feet inside the arc regularly and doesn't take any ill advised 3ptrs. He's only taken 10 3's but hit 4 of them. He's also one of our best foul shooters. I'd take one of him on the team every year. Not a "game wrecker" as SSOM would say, but man he's a championship caliber glue guy.

I wish he'd shoot more, I think he's a little too unselfish at times.

Went back and rewatched the video of this kid.....hate to say it but he reminds me of a taller version of Murphy. He appears very slow, doesn't get off the floor well, has poor hands and not very polished offensively. If he is still coming NOW would be the perfect time to have a big man coach to help him develop IMO!!!

I agree, I didn't see much. But big guys lag little guys by 2-3 years in development. He might look a lot different 2 years from now. I'm not going to count on it, though.

I've heard this song before and it usually doesn't end well for our program. I haven't heard much about Stone in a while...is he still coming here? and if he is, hopefully he develops into beast for us, but i'm not getting my hopes up until that happens.

Been watching his senior highlight video on maxpreps. He may be a legit 3 star. Big, strong, runs the floor ok. Lift from floor may need work. Played with some guys who really didn't share the ball well imho. Can finish, but it is a highlight.

Good to hear. I watched an actual game, and I was most concerned about his hands. I guess he can improve on that. He is a big boy.
 
Still don't think he's coming. I hope I'm wrong but I have a decent source.

I'd still be going for wings that can shoot or score. I'd take my chances at the 4-5 with Murphy, Rickman, BK, Thomas and Hunermann.

Probably too late for a good 5 anyway.
 
Sign with juco northern oklahoma today.. everybody knew he wasn't coming next year,but this is prob a symbol that he isnt coming at all..if he went the prep route id say we were still interested in getting him here at some point.

How about a 6'6 to 6'8 JC MAN with a Clemons rebound attitude to take his place?
 
From my observation of him he would have been nothing more than a "project" for us anyway...... a long one at that. Now we NEED to seek immediate help if that's possible at this point.

Think he would be a better fit for a low mid-major. Sycamores not at that level yet.
