I like what I see on paper from this kid. I'll have to dig around and try and find some video, but his stat lines are pretty solid across the board.

I wonder if Murphy knows the kid at all being both from Montgomery, AL?
 
Kid had 29 points and 10 rebounds in his teams OT win tonight. Looked like he might have had some foul trouble.

He averaged 9 and 7 on the year in 20mpg as a freshman.

Definitely needs to get his shooting percentage up, especially if he is a 4.

Is he a FR? I think those are his Soph. stats. He is a 2015 hs kid that went to Ala. st for a redshirt year and then transferred JC for 2. Can't speak to what the staff see him as but yeah he doesn't appear to be a shooter.

Yep, I missed the year on his bio -- it says 2016-2017 so he would be a soph. Good catch.
