can't recall if we ever started a thread about this or not? Anyway, I think this is about all we know yet.

Home

Butler
Western Kentucky
St Louis (?)
Eastern Illinois (?)

Away

Utah State
Valparaiso
Ball State (?)
IUPUI (?)
Orlando Classic in Florida with 7 other teams, 3 games Florida, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Miami, Stanford, Seton Hall, Indiana State and Quinnipiac.

Any other obvious games I'm forgetting?

Don't think this is close to being correct? Pretty sure neither Butler or St. Louis are coming to the Hulman.

Butler is coming for sure, it's the end of a 3 year contract as a result of them delaying playing us in TH after bracket busters, that is known. It was a 2 for 1 deal 2 in TH, one at Butler, St Louis, not sure about?

And I suppose we'll be playing a D-II school in TH as well

Eastern Illinois, Chicago State, Western Illinois, SIU-E, and even SIU may be nearly out of business by the end of the summer, we'll see.

Considering there's no way in hell we'll get paired with Quinnipiac in the first round of that tourney, we're guaranteed three high profile opponents in that tourney alone.

The People's Republic of Illinois, deserves everything they voted for....elected officials made promises for decades, that were impossible to ever keep

The liability amount for the state pension fund, is unfunded somewhere between $111 and $127 Billion Dollars....depending on which source you read.

So it is possible to get rid of athletics at State Funded schools in Illinois? Maybe that and more.

Kind of a schedule update here, good article just posted grading the MVC teams this past season and looking ahead to the 16-17 season and other teams' schedules. Looks like most teams have fairly nice schedules so far

ISU games

Home

Butler
Western Kentucky
D-II game

Away

Utah State
Eastern Illinois
Valparaiso
Ball State
@ AdvoCare Invitational in Orland vs 3 of the following: Florida, Miami, Gonzaga, Iowa State, Seton Hall, Stanford and Quinnipiac

so at this point we have 3 home games, 4 true road games and 3 neutral site games. (10). Doesn't sound like we'll play a "buy" game. Need to find a home and home series with another good mid major school, with the series starting at ISU, otherwise we're not going to have many home games.

But, at least 3 of the away games are very drivable games, EIU, Valpo, BSU.
