Where is everyone going for the total eclipse on the 21st? I know several from Indiana heading to Kentucky, some to southern Illinois. I will be in far western Nebraska where the probability of a cloudless day is very good.

I know Carbondale is rolling out the red carpet for people from around the world. They've nearly sold out their football stadium and are renting dorm rooms on campus for people who need a place to stay.

On April 8th, 2024 the total eclipse will pass right through Terre Haute and the middle of Indiana. Hopefully ISU will be as wise as SIU has been and realize the economic impact this one day can make.

Carbondale is also bringing in Ozzy Osbourne to sing at a Moonstock concert, he'll reportedly sing "Bark at the Moon" during totality! LOL

thankfully the weather is looking good across the country for the eclipse Monday! This will be a phenomenal event for anyone going to the total coverage zone!

Actually the eclipse tracks perfectly over southern Illinois. The little Town of Makenda north of Carbondale is getting a huge influx of visitors.

yep, and the 2024 eclipse will also go right thru the exact same area, except heading northeast, right thru Indiana.
