At this point, can we just wish Shaka Smart got the Brinks truck backed up to his door at one of the HM jobs and then Marquette went after former player Wardle and the Valley would be a full reset.
At this point I just hope Schertz and the players realize us and Bradley are the only 2 not looking at a full rebuild. And if Bradley loses Hickman, we win the conference by 4-5 games

If HCJS is destined to leave how sweet would it be if Kentucky fired Cal and outbid SLU? Hate the KU program but a some point they have to move away from sleazy coaches and recruiting nothing but 5 stars who are more concerned about NIL $$'s/Draft Position than they are about tournament success. With those resources, support and fan base if they ever committed to a Villanova type approach it would be a scary, consistent run of success.
Can't believe Kentucky is stupid enough to pay Calipari 8mil a year. In his 13 years he has won one NCAA championship and that was in 2012. They get to the dance and then can't do anything.

Just looked at the scoreboard and JMU is getting doubled up by Duke. Their coach has been mentioned with quite a few jobs and WVU's Rivals site said he was another that spoke to them in addition to Devries.

Drake has had 3 good hires in a row that has kept the ship moving forward. But this one feels a little different. Losing Brodie, losing DeVries, probably going to lose Overton, Wright, etc. The cupboard is going to be bare. They do have some resources to stay relevant but no way they stay at the level they've been.

I'm a little surprised about DeVries. I thought he would probably stay at Drake or at the very least somewhere closer to Iowa.

That eliminates Graves from moving on that some were projecting.
Yeah, I think this might mean he's a top candidate to replace JS. If you're looking to limit roster turnover, its probably a good hire, but who knows what will happen once the main domino falls.
