This is the type of stuff that just infuriates me about the college bball landscape. These types of losses happen, it’s the nature of the sport, that’s what makes it so fun to watch; anything can happen any given night. Imagine if a .500 Cincy team came into any at-large worthy mid-major gyms and trounced them by 20+. You wouldn’t recover, ever. They’d still talk about it 10 years later. But because this is Kansas and they have 20 “opportunities” throughout the season they won’t move past the 2 line with a loss like this.
You wanna talk against opportunity to recover from that Cincy loss…KU beat #5 Houston at home last night and plays at #2 Arizona on Saturday.
