On a night we get by 38 we are optimistic that we are going to avoid Thursday :), MVC is very garbage like this season it appears
Absolutely. UNI, Belmont, and Murray State all look respectable. Bradley and Drake look terrible, Valpo and UIC lost everyone decent from last year, Evansville has yet to beat a DI team, and SIU and Illinois State have yet to do anything this year to show me they're any better than we are.

SIU almost beat Nevada. They should won that game.

Hello Sycamore fans!

I just wanted to hop in and thank you for the kind words on my write up. I only noticed this now so I'm a little behind in checking back in.

As you said, it's tough to get a total feel for a team after one game, but glad it was mostly on point. I hope you guys end up better than it felt after that one game.

I haven't caught too much of the last couple games but what's up with Harding? For a guy as strong as he is, it's crazy that he's only averaging less than two rebounds per game.

Feel free to follow my writing - it's Bradley focused, but I do plan on checking in on the rest of the Valley as my schedule permits. https://bubraves2006.substack.com/

Nearly impossible to be top 50 these days. But nice to see majority of the conference is top 175 in most every metric. Valpo and Eville…..

Used ESPN+ replay to watch UNI eke out an OT win on the road over UC Irvine. UC Irvine was in the NIT Final Four last season, but I am unsure of who returned. Nevertheless, it was a solid win for the Valley.

Then I peeked in on the replay of Akron vs E'ville. Close for a while, but Akron eventually destroyed the Aces in a run away.

I have seen Belmont a couple times and it looks very solid - no surprise there.
