I think they got punched in the mouth coming to the MVC from the OVC and they realized they weren’t in cake-walk land anymore and have to compete day in and day out

So....they want to leave just one team out of the tournament? That makes very little sense to me. If you're wanting to protect the first and second seeds, there are other ways of doing it that doesn't require letting all but one team in.
 
Man I don’t know, Arch Madness is pretty well documented as the best mid-major tournament and it really isn’t close. change for the sake of change is never a good thing. There must be some execs that need a “look what I did” on their resume’
 
It costs a lot of money to play a game. Eliminating one team eliminates one money-losing game between two bad teams. Perhaps we can still award a participation in the regular season trophy to the eliminated team.
