Murray State at least is acting like they want to compete in the Valley. I'm still in "waiting and see " mode with the racers until they do something on the court. But on paper they have good reason to be excited

Feel like every season I've heard the same thing. For me they have to show up. Same with their fans.

On paper, Murray jumps to the top.

Miller was credited with a lot of Creighton's success and folks off the McDermott tree have done well. Then to amass the players he has including MM performers and then guys that have had HM development under several quality coaches, I've got to think they will instantly catapult up to the upper echelon.

Different coaches, culture, and players for Murray....the haul they have pulled so far is looking good. Guessing 3 years or less for Miller in KY.

As a counterpoint, how many teams have we seen at every level the past season or two build an awesome team on paper by getting the best players available at their budget/conference level with little regard to actual system fit or chemistry, and then the players that don't make the starting five mentally check out by mid-December and the team plods along to a .500 finish (and of course still gets a single digit NCAAT seed if their jersey has the right patch)

Queens? Is that an upgrade from Valpo? Good Lord…who in hell is advising these kids?
Well there is a Queens in North Carolina so he actually did in fact move to be close to his brother. I thought Queens was in NY but they have the same name.

I said it on the forum about a month ago. High Point & College of Charleston have invested heavily in bball the last few years. They are starting to make moves.

Unless Hickman wanted some sunshine there is no world where College of Charleston should out recruit us for a "local" kid. But they have a bigger bag and more resources in CBB. I wonder what they don't have....
