As the calendar approaches May, the 6-4 Hale is still working on finding that destination. Since reopening his recruitment, Hale has been offered by Indiana Wesleyan, UIndy and Fairmont State, a Division II program in West Virginia. Division I programs have been in contact, including Florida Gulf Coast, Mercer, UC-Santa Barbara, UT-Martin, Texas Rio Grande Valley and NJIT.

Pretty sure it was said in the article NJIT was the closest to offering but is waiting to see if a senior guard will comeback.
 
Not quite ready for D1 ........ will not be surprised to see him get a D1 transfer opportunity or two or three after a year at IWU.

He'll settle into that Wesleyan environment just like the Mahurin's and enjoy his experience. Not everybody is cut out for the "big time circus."
 
He is probably a D1 player... One year at Juco in MS or KS or FL could easily help him improve his stock
Curious as to any big-time competition he ever saw @ Linton while playing "structured" BB? I recall a highly-touted 6'8" Karaszia kid a few yrs. ago who floated to S. Alabama, never to be heard of again. He was also an IN All-state QB, but chose BB as his college specialty.
