Great addition for the Sycamores.

Per Verbal Commits, had offers from TCU, Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Washington State, Eastern Michigan, Coastal Carolina, and LIU (had to look up LIU and they play in the Northeast Conference). 247 Sports also includes offers from Creighton and Illinois.

A lot of articles link him as the best prospect north of the border.

Went out and had a few drinks tonight. Come home to see we have a commit from a 6'11" kid from Canada with a bunch of P5 offers. I might of had a few more brewskis than I originally thought
 
Wait a damn minute!! 6-8 SF Sean Birmingham, 6-7 PF Merritt Alderink, AND 6-11 PF Christian Nitu? In the same class?? This is getting good.

Just watched the videos on this young man...and I am blown away. The whole package. The only caveat is his injury history. Also looks like he plays with a ton of confidence and a bit of an edge. I can't recall anyone in the Valley (ever!) with this kind of skill set.
 
I remember we had the convo about the first NBA player Schertz will coach - you just found him. Get him on campus and stay healthy
 
I know, I know - before the comments start about how player ratings don't matter, yada, yada.... Rival has him as a 5 star recruit. Nice to see anyway.
