Net Rankings for the past four seasons for the conferences do show a slight advantage to the MVC, but ISU was a strong positive only one season and a weak positive the other three. Loyola and Drake were driving the slightly better rating while UNCG won its league title three times and made two NCAA appearances.
And following the "One Bid League" argument, UNCG seems a logical choice for a higher percentage of gaining a bid.

You're spot on DyedBlue. The SOCON is very comparable to the MVC. In 2019 the conference nearly received three bids. Wofford was considered a lock going into the SOCON tourney, while UNCG and Furman were both on the bubble. Wofford ultimately defeated UNCG in the championship game and UNCG ended up as one of the first four out and a #1 seed in the NIT. Furman, who lost to UNCG in the semis made the NIT as a #3 seed.
