Hell, I think they look pretty good the 2nd half. No TD on the 1st play from scrimmage by SIU!!!
First game I've watched this season...ISU play reminds me of the Cornell-Harvard game earlier today. Same type of players. Do we REALLY think this program is gonna bloom given the current formula?

I don't know how you're supposed to stay upbeat and motivated to cheer for a team this bad, but I'm still trying. I'm optimistic about the future, but I really expected some signs of improvement and we haven't seen any. Could we at least lose some games 42-14, or 31-7?

"This is so bad, even SIU’s crowd doesn’t know how to handle it. They’ve gone from enthusiastic cheering, to an almost polite golf clap when the Salukis score. ISU has been so bad and there’s such a sense of pity from the stands, that it’s taken the zip out of their Homecoming crowd."
"As you all know, I’ve seen some bad football from ISU in my time. This is unequivocally the worst performance I have ever seen from the Sycamores. You hate to beat up on young athletes, but this is beyond the pale of just being young, the effort and concentration hasn’t been there either."

No one is going to score 100 because they aren't going to be that cruel. Southern could have scored as much as it wanted today. They had to take the second half off. Golden's comments are exactly what I'm talking about. It's not fair to our opponents to put a product like this on the field and how terribly sad is that? Maybe it's just too much for Miles to handle. I hope not. At least there was a small bright side with the TD pass, but man is this brutal.

This thing is getting uglier, and reflects POORLY on Indiana SAtate as an INSTITUTION of HIGHER LEARNING.
Over half of the SIU Homecoming crowd departed at the midway point yesterday, not even staying to watch the 2nd chapter slaughter.
Sportsmanship - ISU shows up and gives a half-ass performance with virtually NO motivation or spirit present.
RP...If YOU can't do better than this, JUNK the 'FRIGGIN PROGRAM! I'm sick & tired of this
perpetuation of losing by justifying WEEKLY "incremental" positive steps which virtually add to NO VALUE if not cemented week after week into PERFORMANCE.:sycamores:
