That's fantastic. The program is on the rise again, better than before. At this point, Sanford deserves COY, and the team deserves the playoffs. Let's just win out and leave no doubt!

Next week is just about a must win to make the playoffs a real possibility. SDSU and YSU will be very tough games to win.

None of the four teams we have coming up are NDSU. Therefore, they are all winnable. I could see us at 9-3. But we have to stop shooting ourselves in the foot, and avoid the ISU Athletics tradition of falling totally apart to end a season...

In retrospect, it was a joke that SIU was ranked ahead of us when you look at who we've beat and how we've lost and then you do the same with their schedule. They haven't beaten one ranked team.

Timing of loses just like the FBS polls.

If you believe the Gridiron Power Index and Massey Ratings, we should have moved UP with our two losses. We're 10th in the GPI and 9th in the Massey.

Hope you're having fun. Stay awake. We made the 4.5 hour ride back home from C-dale and, with a big bag of M&M's and still up from the game, the drive was no sweat. By the way, saw 5 deer on 57 between Charleston and Kankakee. Fortunately they didn't try to cross.

We saw 6 deer on the way to Indy last night after the game, one WAY to close: it bounded up out of the median on I-70 and froze(hence the saying), but with a lot of luck and some EVOC training, I steered around it and it bumped the drivers side, but no damage.

Back to football somewhat but can someone tell me if I'm close to correct on this?

I don't have exact info and I didn't pay attention the first 2 games but I'm guessing we are 8-0 against the spread and other than Tennessee Tech(which I don't know what the spread was) we have yet to be favored in a game (I didn't look saturday but I'm guessing on ranking). So we have won as dogs 4 times.

I usually go with who is willing to put money on a game and they seem to be getting it wrong every week.
