You know I don't know why they never investigated - but my guess if something did go on under the table (not to my knowledge) then their is more than likely not going to be a paper trail. You can simply draw conclusions and that's about it.... ? Thoughts?

Ok fair enough - look both Rady Sr. and Jr. are good people. This post has nothing to do with them as people. You are prolly right that I should not have taken a shot at them, I simply saw his name and that was the first thing that came to mind. Do I hold a grudge? Maybe, you could say that I am somewhat bitter. Don't get the impression that I got "cut" or anything like that either - don't think for a second that I sucked.... lol

Hopefully my post was did not offend you or Tom, if so I am sorry for that. I guess I figured it would stir up conversation and that's all I wanted to do really. I guess if you people don't like the way I post or the way I act, then maybe you should just keep your opinions about me to yourself as well. Because it's actually the same thing...

I mean what is this thread about anyways? Most of you people don't even know the facts - the most memorable transfer ever was GO and he left TH for more reasons than to simply play hoops for LN. And if you really believe deep down inside that is the only reason he left then you must understand that he made the best decision he ever could have made. But I guess you would have had to have played with, coached or watched Greg in 8th grade to know the kind of basketball player he was at that time - VERY AVERAGE.....

You are just full of contradictions. No it is not the same thing you are here to defend your self and Pat Rady is not. Your posts are in the present and what ever happened with coach Rady is way in the past. You state in another thread that your dad taught you to fight your own battles and you tell myself and Davinth that Tom does not need us to defend him but yet you defended Jason. Jason is the administrator and sets the tone for this board if that is the language that he is going to encourage and condone then I predict that people will be leaving this board and moving on. For your information, I do know and have coached against Pat Rady when he was at Shelbyville he not only is a very good basketball coach but a even better person. Pat is well respected by his peers which is the highest compliment any professional can hope for.

Again my post was not intended to belittle Pat as a person - like I said my former cross country coach who I am still very close friends with is very good friends with Pat Rady Sr. if I were to see either of them tomorrow I would stop and say hello. It is most def. in the past... Actually what happened their was for the better, I would have never played division 1 college basketball, I was still able to realize a dream and participate in D1 college sports (best thing that ever happened to me). Your opinion of Pat as a coach is different than mine and that's ok I respect that. Just respect the fact that I had a horrible experience at THS, I was a pretty talented ball player in middle school and loved the game. When I got to South they made it a horrible experience for me - understand where I am coming from for just a moment. When I heard Tom mention him that was the first thing that came to mind. Again excuse me for going back to the past and letting my personal opinion of him get in the way, I should not have done that. I really don't care that you know Pat personally that is fine with me... Matter a fact you can tell him what I think of him if you'd like - I appreciate your perspective, if you don't appreciate mine then please don't bother me.... Thanks buddy!

I've heard somewhere that Keefer was good friends with the higher ups at IHSAA. This wouldn't surprise me at all. You can bet that if a player wanted to play at TH South the IHSAA would be at 3737 South 7th Street with a mob and pitchforks ;)

Tom, what did the Channel 6 investigation say? I'm just curious.

they interviewed keefer and lawrence north's athletic director.....

who both denied anything was going on...they both said that it was a coincidence that all these th south players were all coming to their school....and then made comments talking the differences between living in terre haute and indianapolis....more opportunities...etc......

they tried to get a comment from the ihsaa...but all they would say is that they had looked into the matter and there was no signs of any apparent wrong doing by anyone at lawrence north.....

and that was where it ended.....i do remember covering the th south at lawrence north game when oden was first playing in indy.....some th south fans booed when he was introduced....
