If so, what consoles do you own? Do you plan online? I own a Xbox 360 and play on Xbox Live myself. I actually play Call of Duty online with several members here.

PS3 online yeah - but I don't play much these days. Only play that boy in the winter, I just have to many hobbies to play video games...

Can't help you on finding a used one. Maybe check GameStop. I think that they might sell used 360s or maybe get on eBay, but thoese probably won't come with any kind of warranty.
