Helluva win tonight -- Congratulations to HC JS and the entire team and staff

Enjoying my 2nd Champaign Velvet of the evening

Larry Blurrd stands at 994 career points - expect him to break the 1,000 mark in the first 10 minutes on Thursday; when he does, he'll become the 42nd Sycamore with 1,000+ career points -- one of the few to do it in 2 seasons

Julian Larry is at 935 career points

Xavier Bledson has 691 points, passing RJ Mahurin (687) tonight

Jayson Kent has 681 points, passing Ron Cheatham (662) during the post-season

Ryan Conwell has 626, he's a near cinch to fly back Alex Gilbert (632) during Thursday's final

Isaish Swope stands at 568 career points

The great Ron Cheatham...he played back when I was a student...he'd have loved playing in this offense.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Indiana State broke open a one-possession game midway through the second half and built a double-digit lead with just under eight minutes remaining as the Sycamores topped Utah, 100-90, to advance to Thursday night's NIT Championship Game.

Anyone catch the 1996 THN class reunion up in 317?
Great win...look at our 2nd halfs this tournament...insane scoring. I don't want this season to end.
We were actually up in this section too. Man was it loud tonight! It was an awesome ISU crowd!!

Your coach is the key!! He knows what he needs to make this offense run. He knows how to develop players. He knows how to build a program quickly. We know how to support a team. We are a community that not too long ago played in and regularly sold out a 19,000 seat arena. We are one of the best sports towns in America. We will embrace a group and system like this.

You are right, it is special. By the way in 1989-1990 we played in back to back NIT championship games, it was special to us too. Our golden era though was the Charlie Spoonhour years; back then the product was good and we loved it….
You are also the murder city in the US

Regardless of what Decourcy said...I will guarantee one thing going forward...no team will be left out of the tournament with a NET under 30 no matter how many effing Q1 wins they have.

They are going to call it the "Indiana State Effect"

A very BOLD statement but I have zero confidence the NCAA will EVER admit they f**ked the selection process for the 2024 NCAA Tourney

Possible coaching changes aside -- does everyone recall the Wichita City Shuckers had an NIT title (2011) BEFORE they had their NCAA Tourney success (as a Valley member)? Trees win tomorrow and that could have, would have been a HELLUVA springboard for the 2024-25 season.

Regardless of the game outcome tomorrow, I'm very curious how 'severe' any re-boot will be...

Who is he? I've never heard of him. I thought he was some random guy in his mom's basement.
If you've ever read a Sport Illustrated, you've read his work. Might even recognize the picture, but he's been at SI for decades. Methinks he might be a bit full of himself.
