Seriously, how many times did Jay have to hit that three from the top of the key before they decided to guard him out there? I don't think they ever did...:krazy:
 
Ohhh man... That game sure does bring back some good memories. Not our best season, but that sure was one of the most exciting games to watch on TV. Especially on ESPNU!
 
The announcer says.." Ohh damn...that's Official Tunnel Vision"

That cracks me up. For those who don't want to watch the whole thing start watching at 6:35 on the first video and listen to the announcer!!

I remember watchin this game in a semi haze at the Bally and I wasn't paying that much attention to the announcers but when he said that I heard it...

Watching that never gets old... Hard to believe that team lost 7 in a row..

I really liked Tunnel & his family. Hoped that he'd be awarded a GA to assist our front-line development. Just think...we wasted almost 3 seasons (and numerous knee/lower back injuries) trying to turn him into a Walker-type banger inside.

Jay's got a Facebook page...someone outa forward this clip, he'd love it!

Marshall's one on one game winner v. the O-Hawk is also quite a memory. They were playing GOOD ball when Arch Madness came around, a testament to K-Mac!

I think the best part is after Jay has hit several three's, there is a point where he gets the ball at the top of the key and as he is shooting, you can hear the redbird crowd start to groan, and then after he makes it, some start to boo, others just sit silently, it was wonderful to listen to. Music to my ears.
 
That Gloomington-Abnormal game was the 2nd of the regular season following a close 1st game verdict in TH and the crowd was a raucous full house (10k).

By comparison, last week's game drew 4k.

We might've finished 7th, but this game set the tone for the rest of the season! The "Marshall v. O-Hawk" was always a great matchup...:sycamores:
