Attendance for the Youngstown game.

WANTED: Passionate Sycamore Fanatics. That You?

Register NOW to join our community of die-hard Sycamore fans.

Id say no more people than last game because the number of Butler fans that padded our numbers. Although I'm dragging a few PU alum with me to the game.

From my vantage point at the top of the stadium, there were about 200 Butler fans, 300 at the absolute most. That puts us with a solid 7,000 Sycamore fans. It would be nice to have a concerted effort from ISU to do LoyalAlum's idea of a "Target: 10,000" campaign to get butts in the seats. I think it's doable. This area is so starved for winning college football, with a little prodding, they'll come out to watch ISU. The fact that we have a fun team to watch makes it all that much better to attract a crowd - people would rather watch a 42-21 game than a 10-7 game, and we score high in that regard.

My wife had such a good time at WKU and the Quincy game last year that she just ask about going to the Haute this Saturday. We'll be making the trip from metro Louisville. Add two more to the tally!

I won't be at this game, but I will be at the homecoming game. I am predicting 9,219 for the attendance of the YSU game.

I' predicting 6,500 on Saturday. It's going to be perfect football weather, so temps in the 60's and a 30 percent chance of rain will keep many away.

What does MS hold? I will say sold out plus 350 sro tickets

Memorial Stadium holds somewhere in the neighborhood of 12,700 in the stands. I suppose you could say the hill on the visitors' side could have several thousand more, if you packed 'em in like sardines...

Before they did away with the visitor side stands, capacity was 20,700...

it's all gonna depend on game day weather I'd guess. If it's not raining then I think they'll do better than Butler, so 8000 or so. If it's raining or there's a hint of rain then I'd say 6000 at best.

So let's hope the rain holds off completely

Where in Louisville

My wife had such a good time at WKU and the Quincy game last year that she just ask about going to the Haute this Saturday. We'll be making the trip from metro Louisville. Add two more to the tally!

I now live in Louisville also, It is funny i was at Kroger and I saw a car with an Indiana state sticker and it made me wonder.

FLS-There's more of us than you think in the Louisville area. We're coming out of the woodwork... I got to go to the WKU last weekend and would like to go this Saturday. Not sure I can convince the better half. She likes Sycamore football but she also likes to have some work done around the house. I just don't understand that??? I'll predict 8502 if I win her over & 8500 if I have to stay home and listen to it on the net. Go Sycamores!

Do you Louisville people go to the ISU Alumni gathering at Churchill Downs each year? I've heard that it is a lot of fun... about a hundred or so alumni. We were going to go this year, but the storms came through JUST before the trip and my wife decided to sit out this year.

Never been to the ISU Alumni outing at the track. I try to stay away from that place. We generally go there twice a year-once during the spring meet-just after the Derby and once during the fall meet. Place can suck the $funds right out of your hands. It works kind of like a vacuum. I just might have to consider going next year just to meet some fellow Sycamores though. GO SYCAMORES!

SYCAMORE51-Are you, the wife & the little one going to the Haute tommorow? If so, what time are you planning on leaving the Burg? Still trying to figure out if the game attendance is gong to be 8500 or 8502...I'm trying my best to make it 8502.
