It's the first college that he's heard from. He's a freshman at Ben Davis High School. I am still hoping and wishing Indiana State sends him something. I keep hoping......

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stop it!

If it's just admissions/marketing stuff, he is going to end up with crates and crates full of it from everyone in Indiana.

Sounds like they've got their shit together.

My college room mate and his wife, both ISU graduates, ending up sending both of their children to ISU-M because they were plastered with material promoting their campus and they live in Porter County, both of their children were education majors.......ouch!

Sounds like the ISU admissions office.....

needs to be more proactive if they want to get past the Ball States.

Maybe I'll look into their Summer programs for Tanner since he isn't "good enough" for ISU.

There is a lot wrong with ISU right now. If you chose to ignore it, so be it. Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people.
I never said there wasn't something wrong at ISU...remember I am the guy that had to drive up there to pick up his diploma after they promised for months to mail it but sometimes you can't take it as a personal afront even if it is. Don't put words in my mouth.

Then maybe you shouldn't make vague statements and elaborate on what you do post.

Bullsh*t -- Should people take it personal? Probably not BUT these ARE the types of things that lead to people NOT sending their kids to State.

It's (yet again) a sign of how amateurish, half-@ssed, clueless folks are at State.

They need more people like John Newton in their P/R, marketing departments.

The summer honors program is a great way to recruit kids; just as boys state was (until State pissed off the american legion), as girls state continues to be...

It is a vague comment to the "not good enough" comment, especially since if the information is true that you posted before your son is CLEARLY qualified. I think mainly it's probably one or two idiots in admissions. I graduated with a 3.65 from HS and completed the highest degree I could and was told originally I would have to go to University 101 since I was one of those "remmedial" students. What they were hinting at was my "learning disability" I am ADHD. But If there was any research done they would have realized it doesnt effect me.

What are you even talking about? You agreed with the only thing I posted on the subject. 4q being 4q
