Big 10 looking awful in today's bowl games. Mich. State especially. They had no business being ranked 7th. Too bad, too, because I don't think some of those SEC teams (Florida and Mississippi State) are that good. Does nothing to improve the impression though that the Big 10 isn't a top football conference anymore.

Mississippi State is a great team, and they are going nowhere but up. Watch out for them in the recent future. They are going to be very good for awhile.
 
Mississippi State is not a great team...please take back that statement...Michigan couldnt run the ball or stop the run...Michigan blew something special...No offense Big 10 but u have been nothing but TERRIBLE....
 
As long as they keep the homes on concrete blocks, thus providing shelter for the chickens, I'm OK with their progress. I have noted an increase in Nissan Altima's just N of Jackson over the past several years...now if they'd only keep the chickens from displaying their "pecking order" on the car hoods, every thing would be cool.

Don't ya just love the ol' South...

Ohio State is the only football team in Big 10 that belongs in a BCS bowl! Even though the 5 players suspended for next year have no right playing in the Sugar Bowl!
 
Yeah Wisconsin IMO shouldnt have been in there...I dont understand how the BCS can rank them ahead of Michigan State who beat them head to head...if this was Stanford or Oregon this game would already be over...

great football teams are top 5 and maybe a few top 10 teams. just because you are ranked doesn't make you great.
 
actually let me correct myself. very good teams are in the top 5 maybe top 10. GREAT teams Uconn womens basketball, 92' bulls, etc.
