The Indiana State women’s basketball team, under the direction of eighth-year head coach Jim Wiedie, will host the 3rd Annual Big Blue Block Party on Friday, October 12 in the Clabber Girl Parking Lot as well as 9th and Cherry Streets.
The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. outside of Hulman Center. The Block Party will feature free food and music as well as a Kid’s Zone and many other activities for the entire family. Music and entertainment will be provided by 92.7FM The Crock as well as ESPN Radio 1130 & 1300 AM.
The entire evening is free and open to the general public.
At 7 p.m., the evening’s attention will turn towards Hulman Center as all fans and members of the community are invited to a free public scrimmage on the floor.
Following the scrimmage, there will be autographs and an opportunity to meet the team. Representatives from the Hulman Center Ticket Office will be on hand to assist interested fans with season ticket orders.
In addition, fans are invited to stick around inside Hulman Center following the women’s team’s activities to watch the ISU men’s basketball team, led by first-year head coach Kevin McKenna, conduct their first official practice of the preseason.
