Who's going to the Blue-White scrimmage on Saturday? It will be interesting to the the new additions and check out the numbers. We're going down Friday and staying through the scrimmage.

By my count there are only 15 of Coach Miles' initial recruiting class of 31 left, plus one walk on (of these, the roster says 5 of them are redshirt Juniors). I believe there are also 3 or 4 fifth year Seniors. I look forward to personally thanking each of these Seniors, along with the 6 or 7 Senior transfers, who have meant so much to the rebuilding of the program.

scrimmage

my wife and i had the pleasure of attending last saturdays scrimmage. I was very impressed with the team as a whole. Our son seems to be transitioning well after transferring from Indiana. We have not yet had the pleasure of meeting many of the members of the coaching staff yet , but our son assures me that they are all top notch. Josh has 3 years of eligibility left and We are confident that coach miles will get every bit of talent out of him. Josh has not had anything but good to say about the team or staff. We are very happy to be part of the sycamore football family.
 
We'll be there...

Wife and I coming up thursday! Watch a couple of practices and scrimmage...then, move son into permanent dorm. We look forward towering some people.

Welcome to the family! Glad to have quality kids represent our school. Sounds like your son shores up a weak spot for us. I'm looking forward to seeing him, and the rest of the 2011 Trees, all season long!!!

I agree. Super gesture to thank the seniors and transfers. I am sure they will appreciate it.

I think there will be a good crowd Saturday. Last Saturday I counted about 200-250 which is decent for not promoting it. You've watched a lot of football with your son over the years...to think this is his last year has to be very emotional. A lot of great memories with posibly the best to come! enjoy every moment...(even though you've got another one coming in).

Will be covering Colts practice Saturday afternoon. Let me know what happens.

Keep them coming........I'm sure Coach Barrett will be working the recruiting trail hard in that neck of the woods.
 
I won't be able to make it... have had Kid Rock tickets for 4-5 months now. For everyone that goes, do me a favor and tell folks about the site!
 
Planning on arriving at the stadium around 8 am. Bringing along Ben's brother Matt, who is home on leave from the Air Force. He hasn't been able to see many games. Looking forward to getting the cobwebs off of the tailgating gear in preparation for the trip to Penn State. Can't wait to see my Sycamore side of the family. As always, the welcome matt is out at the RV. Come on by and we'll pop the top of of a few pops:cheers:. Would love to meet the parents of the new players. See you all there.

For all the new parents--a stop by Tom's RV (you can't miss it on the west side of the stadium) is highly recommended! I look forward to seeing everyone.
