I'm very excited about this hire. And I'll go listen to the podcast that Jason refers to. Coach Schertz appears to not only have NBA connections, but is flexing those muscles with his hires.

Honestly, never heard of this dude before. After reading, listening, reviewing resume.... seems like a solid hire. Over last few months this program is taking on a majorly different look. Recruiting and coaching staff may have been kicked up a notch. I really like this new assistant. I think kids will listen, has a story to tell that will capture their minds?

So.... when this program starts to show signs of becoming the next Gonzaga - the AD and president can't let the thing derail! Just saying... lol 😂😉 I mean Few is still there! Could ISU ever pay 1.5+ million in annual salary? 🤪🤔

4Q. It's a simple hypothetical question... if ISU ever obtains a coach that shows tremendous success over a 3 year stint. Could they somehow come up with funds to keep everything in tact? You know 2 million year for the staff? Is it possible for an mvc team to rise to national prominence and increase revenue via other avenues? Not sure. Gonzaga did it, but they are a tad different than ISU.

Good friggin' grief -- I truly wish people would STOP using Gonzaga as a comparison to ISU wrt MBB.

It's ridiculous - for a helluva lot of reasons.

Football is the elephant in the room wrt $$$ and ISU
