Yes. But at which part of my team are you laughing at?

Acceptable answers are ownership, management, or head coach because all are absolute chuckle fucks. This franchise is following the Cubs model of up until Theo where they know fans aren't going anywhere so they don't care about winning.
 
No I got what I came for... My dad is a Bears fan as well. I just wanted you to have to click on the thread and think "this ass hat..." That is all I wanted out of my day.

I don't think Fields will ever be the answer - I could be wrong but I'm not sure he is it... Beyond that all of the above - but I'm not qualified to have an opinion on the Bears if we're being real.

I can never let a discussion about the Bears go without posting something about the Packers. After all, Aaron Rodgers OWNS the bears...🤣

Field is the best of the lot we've had. However, we have a coach calling a game for a completely different style of QB just as he has since he got here. Dude is clueless.

That is compounded by the fact that the GM does little to address our biggest positions of need such as the offensive line while spending roughly 40% of our entire salary cap on our front 7. When you toss in that we've also got 15% committed to Fields, Dalton and Foles, you ain't got shit to split for everything else. So we've got garbage line, garbage corners, etc.

Then that is compounded even more by the McCaskeys being absolute lame duck owners content on collecting that NFL royalties check and accepting the status quo. The only thing I'm enjoying is the fact that they were considered a top 5 valuable franchise like a decade ago and they keep slipping because they're doing nothing to address winning. Think they fell out of the Top 20 so I hope it drives them to sell to someone that wants to put a winner on the field.

agree - ol' Lady (Halas) McCaskey has been hands off... but I see the Bears being sold by the Halas-McCaskey Clan after the Rooneys, Maras, Bidwells and Browns sell their franchises

IIRC Papa Bear himself didn't have a great succession plan in place, other than telling people to NOT let Ed (McCaskey) get involved in running the team...

FWIW, However bad the Bears may be in a given year, it's STILL more fun to drink beer with a Bears fan than a Packers fan

Jason, don’t let them give you too much crap. They did have that one game where Dalton lead them to victory over his former team.
